Academic Resume

If you are planning to apply to a university, please be aware that they will require an Academic Resume. This document showcases a student's academic accomplishments, extracurricular activities, and work experience, helping to differentiate candidates to college admissions officers. Apply to College
Seniors, you can apply to colleges easily through either ApplyTexas or the Common App. Get started now by choosing your preferred platform and begin your journey toward college! Application Guide for Apply Texas and Common App
If you are experiencing difficulties while completing your Apply Texas and Common Application, please click on the buttons below for a guide on how to successfully complete each application.

University Application Fee Wavier 
If you require assistance with the application fee, high school seniors have the option to request a waiver by completing our Google form. Upon qualification, Maverick University will send the waiver to your student email. We encourage you not to let the fee hinder your application—apply today!

Transcript Request

To request your transcript, please complete the Google form available through the Registrar's Office. It takes 24-46 hours for PMHS to send out your Transcript to the school you requested. It typically takes 1-2 weeks for it to show on the University/College portal. Your transcript will be sent directly to the institution to which you are applying. For further assistance, you may contact the Registrar's Office at nehernandez@pasadenaisd.org.

ACT/SAT/PSAT 

Seniors have the opportunity to request a fee waiver for the SAT and ACT by completing a Google form. If eligible, a waiver code will be sent to your student email. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to save and apply for your waiver today.

College Acceptance form: 

Please complete the College Acceptance form to inform the MaverickU team when you’ve been accepted to the school you applied to. This information allows us to track the number of Maverick seniors who have been accepted into universities or community colleges.

Scholarships Award Form

Scholarship Bulletin Board
Maverick U offers a monthly scholarship bulletin board that seniors can utilize to apply for scholarships. Please click the button that says “Click here to Access MaverickU’s Scholarship Bulletin Board” to go to the bulletin board.

Recommendation letter

If you require a recommendation letter for your college applications, please email your academic resume along with your request to the individual you wish to ask for a recommendation. Providing your academic resume will assist them in crafting a more personalized letter on your behalf. 

San Jacinto College Promise

Attention Seniors: San Jacinto College offers a last-dollar scholarship that provides full coverage of costs after completing your Financial Aid Applicatin. The San Jacinto College Promise Scholarship helps cover your associate degree or certificate, including expenses for books, tuition, and supplies. To be considered for this scholarship, you will need to complete the Financial Aid application. If seniors have any questions, our outreach advisor is available on campus every Tuesday and Thursday in the College and Career Center to assist.
