Community Resources

Community U

Pasadena ISD is gearing up for its first-ever Community “U” Academy – a three-part educational program that will offer parents and community stakeholders an inside look at the school district.

The workshop series will raise awareness about various topics that impact students, campuses and the school district. These include: curriculum and instruction, state accountability testing, fine arts and athletics, Early College High School, personalized learning, security and safety and career and technical education.

The goal of Community U is to increase knowledge about Pasadena ISD, while building a collaborative relationship with the school district.

The academy will conclude with a graduation dinner, where participants will receive a certificate of completion.

The academy will meet:

  • January 25 – 9:00-11:30 at the Lewis Career and Technical High School
  • March 21 – 11:30-1:00 at Lomax Middle School
  • May 16 – 5:30-7:00 at the Athletic Hall of Fame
