Future Course Verification
Hello Maverick Families,
We are on our way to finalizing student course selections for the 25-26 school year. There are two steps to this process. The following will be available to parents and students from Wednesday, February 18th - February 20th.
Part 1 – Parent Involvement
Parent Future Course Verification and approval of course selections are only through the Parent Family Skyward account. Follow the link for instructions: Parent Verification of Registration Instructions.
After February 20th, any requests not approved will be automatically marked as approved.
Part 2 – Student Responsibility
Students will receive the following information about future course request changes in HR on Tuesday, February 17th Student Registration Course Verification.
Students can view their future course selections through their Skyward accounts under the tile Course Request 26-27. If the student wants to make a change, the student needs to complete the following link: Schedule Change Request Form
The window for future course verification and submission of a course request change will be:
Wednesday, February 18th – February 20th
Attention PARENTS and STUDENTS on TRANSFERS
You will not be able to verify your students’ future courses at this time. The student will not have a future Course Request tile in Skyward because transfer students are not currently included in our future calendar. As students complete the transfer process and are approved, they will be added to our system. Because this happens at irregular intervals, there is no way to have an official course verification for students in this category. If transfer students want to make a change to the courses selected during registration, they can still submit course request changes using the link above. Transfer students will be able to view their courses in August, shortly before school starts. If there is an error, please email the student’s counselor.
Early College Program
If you have accepted a spot for the Early College Program, Mrs. Milam will be in touch with you about your next steps for registration and verification. Please follow her guidelines.
