Due Date Approaching: Financial Aid Graduation Requirement

Hello Seniors and Parents!
This is just a friendly reminder that the deadline for the Financial Aid Graduation Requirement is coming up on April 30th. All seniors need to either complete a financial aid application or an Opt-Out Form. If you plan on attending any college after high school, please make sure to fill out the financial aid application. On the other hand, if you're NOT planning to attend college or you're enlisting in the military, you can simply complete the Opt-Out Form. The Opt-Out Form is attached. 

Once you've completed your application or opt-out form, please upload a screenshot of your confirmation or the completed opt-out to the QR code below so we can clear you for graduation by April 30th! You can easily upload proof of completion by following the QR code on the flyer below.

Hello Maverick Seniors and Families,

We’re excited to share that a letter was mailed to all senior parents about the Texas Financial Aid Graduation Requirement and the San Jacinto College Promise Scholarship. It’s wonderful to know that all seniors graduating from Pasadena Memorial High School have a fantastic opportunity to receive the San Jacinto College Scholarship for free, regardless of parent income! Just a quick reminder: all seniors must either complete a Federal Financial Aid Application or sign an opt-out form if they choose not to apply for  Financial Aid. The opt-out form must be turned in by April 30, 2025 in order to graduate. If the senior chooses to opt-out of the Financial Aid graduation requirement, the opt-out form can be found on our on our website at Mavericku.pmhsmavs.com on our Financial Aid page. The form must be fully completed, signed, and turned into the College and Career center located inside the PMHS library.
